Tephros refers to the rubbles and mineral particle materials thatget from volcanic eruption and the diameter is less than 2 mm. It looks like dust and the color includes dark grey, light grey, yellow and white. In the process of volcanic exploding, solid rocks and lava will be broken into fine particles which will develop into tephros. It has the volcanic activity, namely, under the general temperature and water, it can react with lime to generate the hydrates. These hydrates have hydraulic gelation ability. Therefore, they can be milled into powder and used as mixture materials to make cement.
Tephros is similar with limestone, and the limestone production line can be used as the tephros production line. In the tephros production line, it might include these stages: feeding; primary crushing; grinding; screening and washing. All these processes need different machines to complete the related stages. The vibrating feeder is mainly used in the first stage for feeding tephros from the production site into primary crusher. When the materials are taken into the primary crusher-jaw crusher, they will be crushed into small size. It is the first breaking stage. In jaw crusher, the tephros will be crushed into small size.

As we all know, the tephros can be used as the construction materials to build high buildings, railways or other industries. So it will need the fine size tephros materials. Through the separation process, large scale materials will be taken back to grinding room to be grinded again. The qualified fine powder will goes into the finished product cyclone powder with air.
