The introduction of modern mining and extraction methods has once again made the mine a major producer of precious metals.
Exploration projects over the past two decades have unearthed extensive deposits of precious and industrial minerals throughout the country. These include not only gold and silver, but also copper, tin, tungsten, nickel, chrome, zinc, lead, phosphates, iron ore, bauxite, potassium ore and even table salt.
Geological surveys and mineral exploration have revealed that, in addition to vast oil reserves, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia possesses large deposits of various minerals, including bauxite, copper, gold, iron, lead, silver, tin and a number of non-metallic minerals. The Arabian Peninsula has ancient rocks, contains economically attractive metal deposits, and has extensive sedimentary successions of shallow water origin, hosting large deposits of industrial minerals. The geology of the Kingdom can be divided into two main zones. The Shield area in the west, adjacent to the Red Sea, covers one-third of the Kingdom and is the focus of gold and base metals exploration and mining. The surrounding sedimentary rocks dip gently toward the Arabian Gulf and contain industrial minerals – as well as being the reservoir for the Kingdom’s prolific oil and gas fields.
Maadin is responsible for regulating mineral exploration and overseeing its progress. Mining projects which are owned by the Government or in which the Government was participating in were consolidated and rebuilt commercially. Maadin provides sufficient basic infrastructure for mining projects located in remote areas. MAADIN owns the Mahd adh-Dhahab and as-Sukhaibirat mines and holdds exploration licences for the gold deposits in Wadi Bidah, Al-Hajar, Ad-Duwaihi, Samran, Sheban, Zalm and Hamdah, for phosphate ore in Wadi Al Sarhan and Turaif, for magnesium in Zargat, Jabal Abt and Jabal Al Rukham, for zinc in Al Khnaiguiyah, as well as licenses for exploration of industrial metals in Jabal Sodah.
Gold mining is still Ma’aden’s most profitable activity. Since 1988, Saudi Arabia has sold more than 4 Moz of gold to international markets. Gold deposits are located throughout the Arabian Shield, a geological formation which spans Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast and continues east until reaching the middle of the Kingdom. In 2010, Ma’aden added 1.76 Moz of gold to its resource base, bringing its overall gold resources to 11.328 Moz.
For gold ore mining operators, it is very helpful for you to have a good understanding of the gold ore production line. This mining plant includes the feeding machine, crushing machine, screening equipment and the transporting equipment. Portable gold ore production line will be realized through two or three crushing stages. Jaw crusher, cone crusher and the impact crusher machines were widely used in the whole production line. If necessary, the tertiary crushing machine will be adopted.
Stone cone crusher for sale is widely used in gold ore crusher. Our company has many gold ore crushing machine for sale. we have two series of gold cone crusher for sale: CS cone crusher and HPC series cone crusher. The new series of HPC cone crusher with high-efficiency and hydraulic pressure equipment is adopted three protecting equipment such as protecting oilcan, locking oilcan and hydraulic driving oilcan.
For gold ore crushing, we usually choose jaw crusher for primary crushing and stand cone crusher for secondary crushing while short head cone crusher is used for fine crushing. To increase production and equipment utilization factor, Ore Dressing Plant generally follows the principle of more crushing with less grinding to reduce the size of ore into the grinding mill.
Hammer crusher machine is developed for both dry and wet crushing of brittle, medium-hard materials for the mining, cement, coal, metallurgic materials etc.
SCM ultrafine mill has been exported to more than 130 countries used in super grinding industry.
Mobile cone crusher is suitable for secondary and tertiary crushing in direct feed applications.
SBM designed the YKN series vibrating screen, which has high-strength exciting force.
