On Jaunuary 17, Jinqiao Development Zone held its annual symposium and its first cultural festival for its workers at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Zhang Xiaobing and Liu Jiankang from SBM participated in this festival by their outstanding programs.

With a theme of “Beautiful Jinqiao, Our harmonious Family”, this cultural festival presented various performance style, such as dance, instrumental music, folk art, vocal music, and other special performance, totally attracted more than 400 workers from 62 enterprises of Jinqiao Export Processing Zone participated.

Finally, after several rounds of fierce competition, Zhang Xiaobing’s bamboo flute solo “Yihe song” won the first prize regarding of musical instrument program, Xu Xichao’s traditional opera won the first prize, and Liu Jiankang’s song ” long time no home ” got the second prize of vocal music program. In addition, the other four programs are also respectively won the third prize of vocal music and third class of China drama program.

Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone, being approved by the state council and established in September, 1990, is a state-level economic and technological development zone. Up to now, the total economic amount has accounted for a quarter of that of Pudong New Area while a fifteenth of that of Shanghai. Regarding the industry scale and technology, Jinqiao Export Processing Zone has becoming the leader during the 54 state-level economic and technological development zones across the whole country.
