The launch event and award ceremony of the 7th top 10 Economic Classic Samples in Pudong Headquarter, organized by Commerce Commission of Pudong New District in Shanghai, was held at Shanghai International Convention Center on December 8th, 2021. Yang Chao, a Pudong Újkerület Bizottságának állandó bizottsági tagja és a kerületi alpolgármester részt vett az eseményen. Fang Libo, the executive vice president of SBM, said at the meeting: “We particularly want to seize the opportunities brought by development of Pudong and make breakthroughs in construction of green mine and smart mine as well as the exploitation of urban mineral."

2021. július 15-én kiadták a CPC Központi Bizottsága és az Államtanács véleményét a Pudong Új Kerület fejlesztéséről, amely támogatja Pudong magas szintű reformját és nyitottságát, valamint célja, hogy vezető területté építse a Szocialista Modernizáció számára. Ez új lehetőségeket kínált Pudong fejlődése számára.
