5+3 Top-down Management Decision-making Mode — An Effective Procedure For Proposal and Man
In March when 3+5 Bottom-up Management Decision-making Mode was extensively implemented in SBM, another reform highlighting “5+3 Top-down Management Decision-making Mode” has been launched recently. This reform will be started from the management level, and then generally seep into the downstream levels.
Facing such a complex marketing, it is necessity for a company to upgrade its management system. In 2012, SBM regulated its management structure and further proposed its management decision-making mode, which is composed of “3+5 Bottom-up Management Decision-making Mode”, “5+3 Top-down Management Decision-making Mode” and “1+N”. “3+5” points out bottom-up decision-making method, while “5+3” top-down management would better implement management upgradation. “1+N” refers to procedure reengineering, which would be better hance the efficiency of the cross cooperation between departments.
Regarding “5+3” mode, Mr.Sun, Manager of Operation Center explained, “Managers’ conference” is a key point for “5+3”mode. This reform on the management level mainly includes two aspects, one is to add the dominant topic in the meeting, another is to launched supervision mechanism.
After the test run for more than one month, the dominant topic segment has been orderly carried out. Many topics were shared on the meeting, such as “Details determine success or failure”, ”Attach great importance to the basic work”, etc. We value innovation and try to provide a customized solution to customers, such as VU Mode and Lightning Mode. meanwhile, we also pay more attention to details and our basic work”, Mr.Du, Manager of SBM Marketing Center said.
On April 11, the first quarter operation conference 2013 was held. On the conference, a new process was added regarding the supervision mechanism. During the process each center manager could dress up as a journalist to interview or to make proposal to other managers.
For the process newly added, Manager Sun expressed his point, ” it is obviously an effective way for supervision, and problems would be pointed out in this process. ”5+3” mode is a top-down management method, through which important decisions would be discussed by the management level and then would promote the development of company.”
