Den 8. desember 2018 ble den 5. Kinesiske internasjonale steinmassetreffet offisielt holdt i Shanghai, Kina. Denne konferansen ble sponset av Kinas steinmassforening og co-organisert av SBM & Technology Group Co., Ltd.
Themed by “Grønn utvikling, Bygg en fremtid sammen”, this conference convened many domestic and international representatives to discuss over where the global aggregate industry will head for and how to promote the transformation and upgrading of the aggregate industry.
Åpningstale
Leaders and representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Department of Mineral Resources Protection and Supervision, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Raw Materialer Division, the Ministry of Commerce’s Department of Foreign Trade, China Gruvedrift Association, SBM, EU’s Aggregater Association and New Zealand’s Aggregater Association, etc. gave an opening address.

Aggregatindustrien går inn i en ny æra --- Integrering av utvikling, bygg en fremtid sammen

På konferansen indikerte Mr. Hu at hvis grusindustrien ønsker et nytt liv, må den lære å overgå seg selv. Ved å absorbere internasjonale avanserte teknologier, erfaringer og ideer, samt dypt integrere med ulike industrier, forventes det at grusindustrien vil danne en ny utviklingsmodell og få mer oppmerksomhet fra samfunnet.

Etter hovedtale-rapporten ble Mr. Jim O'Brien, ærespresident for EU Aggregater Association, Mr. Liang Wenquan, professor ved Wuhan University, fru Zhang Baolan, ingeniør ved Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao-broen, og andre viktige representanter invitert til å holde en rapport.

He said: “Nowadays, the aggregates industry is in a fast-growing stage, requiring enterprises, investors, practitioners and government institutions to collaborate to drive industrial upgrading. However, which direction shall the industrial upgrading direct at? Promoting green, concerted, harmonious and sustainable growth must be the answer. ”
