General Introduction of Perlite:

Perlite belongs to the acidic lava and it is formed after a period of rapid cooling. It is named because of its pearl fissure structure. Perlite ore includes perlite, obsidian rock and turpentine. The difference between the three perlites is the circular arc cracks formed by the condensation effect, which can be recognized as the perlite structure. It has water content of 2 ~ 6%; Pitching stone has a unique resin gloss, water content of 6 ~ 10%; Black obsidian with vitreous luster with conchoidal fracture, and it generally has less than 2% moisture content.

The Mohs hardness is 5.5-7 and the density is 2.2-2.4 g/cm3. The refractoriness temperature is 1300~1380°C.

Wide Application of Perlite:

Raw perlite materials will be processed through fine crushing and super fine crushing and it can be used for rubber and plastic products, paint, paint, printing ink, synthetic glass, heat insulation bakelite and some mechanical components and equipment for filling material.

Whole Perlite Processing Plant:

Depending on the different processing stage, the product can be divided into crude perlite, perlite ore, expanded perlite and surface treatment of expanded perlite. According to different weight, you can utilize the gravity separator to remove the undesired materials. Also the magnetic separator will eliminate the magnetic materials from perlite ore. At last, through smelting, the high grade and pure perlite ore can get.
