South Africa has abundant coal resources and the proved undeveloped reserve is in the fifth after China, the United States, the commonwealth of independent states and India. It accounts for 10.6% of the world's recoverable reserves. Of recoverable reserves, inferior bituminous coal accounts for 81.5%, senior bituminous coal is 13.1% and anthracite coal accounts for 5.4%.
The coal resource is concentrated in the eastern region of South Africa. Among them, the PuMalanga and the Northern Province generally have bituminous coal with thicker coal seam; KuaZuLu/NaDaErSheng has anthracite coal with relatively thin coal seam. Coal seam in South Africa is mainly concentrated in the dry, Lai Hai platform. The rest such as Northern Province coal field, the elevation of more than dry platform altitude is higher than the northeast of Eastern Cape coalfield.
Coal exploitation line refers to: underground coal can be exploited by drilling into coal seams and extracting the methane that naturally occurs within coal. The methane can be used directly for generating electricity or for heating. Such extraction, known as coal bed methane, is relatively non-intrusive, i.e. there is no coal mine and it leaves the coal unaltered so it could be mined by traditional methods in the future.
After coal exploitation line, the coal mining production line will be used. The main coal production line refers to the coal crushing plant, coal grinding line and coal leaching process. Coal crushing production line is mainly used to break the large scale coal materials into small size. Coal crushing production line can be divided into coal primary crushing line and secondary crushing line. Coal grinding line is not the necessary. If there is primary and secondary crushing stage, it does not need grinding process. Or only the primary crushing line, the grinding mill will help to pulverize crushed coal materials.
The leaching stage is used to separate the needless materials involved in coal ore. Here will mainly introduce the coal crushing production line and the related coal crushers.
