Failure Of Anti-Vibrating Spring
After long-time service, permanent deformation occurs in the anti-vibration spring due to rubber aging or long-term stress, leading to spring failure. The failure of anti-vibrating spring will cause the height difference of the fulcrums of the 4 sets of anti-vibrating springs. And the amplitudes of the parts in vibrating screen will also be different, causing the fracture of connection parts in vibrating screen or the crack of welded junctions of connecting pieces.
To solve this problem, operators should check the anti-vibration spring regularly. Besides, the spring is generally made of 60Si2MnA, and its heat treatment hardness should reach HRC 45–50.
Deviation Of Eccentric Gear Weight In Vibration Exciter
The eccentric block in the vibration exciter is mainly used to make the vibrating screen vibrate, and its weight directly affects the amplitude of the vibrating screen. If there is deviation in the eccentric gear weight, the excited force produced in the operation process will disperse. When reflected on the screen deck, it presents inconsistent amplitudes at various positions, resulting in fracture of connecting components or cracks at welded joints.
The Plumb Line of the Eccentric Block Does Not Coincide with the Vertical Center Line
While installing the vibration exciter, after connecting the vibration exciter with universal coupling, with the effect of transmission shaft torque force, the plumb line of eccentric gear will not coincide with the natural plumb line. In this case, the amplitudes of each part in the vibrating screen will not be uniform, causing fracture of connecting parts or cracks at welded joints.
The Screen Plate Is Too Thin
Another reason that causes the fracture of the vibrating screen is that the screen plate is too thin. To solve this problem, operator should thicken the side board or add an extra board in order to strengthen the rigidity of vibrating screen. In this case, the deck base will not so easy to fracture.
