March 18 afternoon, Shanghai Shibang Machinery Co. LTD held a special meeting on how to improve the “soft environment” and “hard environment” of company by discussion. The committee of company , chief managers of all departments and major persons in charge participated in the meeting.
Survey shows: More than 80% of job seekers value“soft treatment”
This year is the start of "the twelfth five-years plan". "Two sessions" have revealed the signal of "happiness". Construction of the happiness ofcity and improving Gross National Happiness aretaken as animportant goal of "the twelfth five-years plan " in many places. Happiness Project is much more than government projects. In terms of Happiness Project's creation, people can look to the government, but company can not wait for that. As the core carrierof the people livelihoodina country and nation, it can be said thatinnovation of company management, social responsibility of one company and public role a company plays determine the true “landing” of happiness index.
March 18, according to the survey of "China Youth Daily" Social Research Center,over 80% of respondents value the "soft treatment" when seeking a job,considering itclosely related to their "happiness”. "Soft treatment" is a concept,which means that when seeking jobs or working in companypeople are more and more caring about the corporate culture, career development prospects, colleagues, relations and other soft environment, that corresponds tothe traditional concept which values“hard treatment” such as salary and accounts more.
Management is to train people with great love
In the meeting , the company chairman shared a “success formula:”
Right direction + right people + scientific and humane mechanism = Brilliant achievement.
The "people"mentioned in the formula, is the most valuable resources of business.How to deal with people and train people is an important issue for each company. First, the chairman mentioned a hot topic - "Japanese nuclear leak" to share the feat of the "50 slain" in Fukushima, and talked about the simplicity of their devotion to duty, the commitment and the great admiration of their great love, and then noted that the management is to train people with great love.
One of the cores of company targets is to help employees with the overall development and growth of the company's core human resources objectives. Company management team should be full of love and gratitude of the heart to team members, and treat team members persuasive, individualized. The happiness index of members should be incorporated into management appraisal
At the meeting, managerof each department and the major people in charge actively participated in the discussion, described the specific circumstances of each team, and put forward many practical and effective suggestions and comments on company-wide human resources system and cultural improvement , and unanimously agreed targets should be set to the corresponding regular investigation team of the happiness index, while tooking the creation of a Pentium, harmonious team as a regular and important task. Human Resources Department said it will include members of well-being index for the assessment among all levels of management, to make all of the managers promote the care and love.
