Key varieties include high-value flake graphite (for battery anodes), lump graphite (refractories), and amorphous graphite (lubricants/foundries). Through beneficiation, carbon content can reach 99.99%, enabling lithium-ion batteries, advanced composites, and green tech applications.

  • Froth Flotation (Core Step)

    Reagents: Diesel (Collector), MIBC (Frother)
    Multi-Stage Circuit: Rougher, 3-5 Cleaners, Scavenger
    Target: 80-90% C concentrate

  • Chemical Purification

    Chemical Purification (High-Purity Grades)
    Acid Leaching (HF/HCl): Removes silicates & metal oxides
    Alkali Roasting (NaOH): Deep impurity removal (99.5%+ C)
    Chlorination (99.99% C for semiconductor use)

  • Dewatering & Drying

    Filtration (Filter press & Centrifuge)
    Thermal Drying (Rotary dryer, <1% moisture)
