About the Graphite

Graphite is a naturally occurring crystalline carbon with exceptional conductivity, thermal stability, and lubricity. Key varieties include high-value flake graphite (for battery anodes), lump graphite (refractories), and amorphous graphite (lubricants/foundries). Through beneficiation, carbon content can reach 99.99%, enabling lithium-ion batteries, advanced composites, and green tech applications.

Processing Technology

  • Crushing & Grinding

    • Primary & Fine Crushing (Jaw crusher + Cone crusher)
    • Selective Grinding (Rod/ball mill with minimal flake damage)
  • Chemical Purification

    • Chemical Purification (High-Purity Grades)
    • Acid Leaching (HF/HCl): Removes silicates & metal oxides
    • Alkali Roasting (NaOH): Deep impurity removal (99.5%+ C)
    • Chlorination (99.99% C for semiconductor use)
  • Froth Flotation (Core Step)

    • Reagents: Diesel (Collector), MIBC (Frother)
    • Multi-Stage Circuit: Rougher, 3-5 Cleaners, Scavenger
    • Target: 80-90% C concentrate
  • Dewatering & Drying

    • Filtration (Filter press & Centrifuge)
    • Thermal Drying (Rotary dryer, <1% moisture)
