Utilizing advanced techniques like flotation, the project aims to maximize gold recovery while promoting sustainable practices. It is expected to boost the local economy, and by collaborating with local stakeholders, the project aims to foster long-term economic growth and environmental stewardship in the region.
A semi-autogenous mill can accomplish the same size reduction work as 2 or 3 stages of crushing and screening. It is widely used in modern mineral processing plants for grinding operations, as it can directly produce finished particle sizes or prepare feed materials for downstream grinding sections. SBM offers various models of semi-autogenous mill with diameter ranging from 5 to 10 meters.

FAQs
1. What raw materials can SBM SAG Mill process?
It is widely applied to hard & abrasive ores including gold ore, copper ore, iron ore, nickel ore, hematite, and also suitable for large-scale aggregate, construction waste, limestone grinding projects. It supports wet grinding as mainstream process.
2. What grinding circuit collocation does SAG Mill apply to?
Two mainstream collocations:1, Single SAG mill open-circuit coarse grinding for low-fineness aggregate production;2, SAG Mill + Ball Mill closed-circuit two-stage grinding system for metal ore flotation/CIL separation, equipped with hydrocyclones for grading.
3. What is the essential difference between SAG Mill and traditional ball mill?
1. Grinding medium: SAG uses ore lumps + small quantity steel balls; ball mill only uses steel balls as media;
2. Structure: SAG mill large-diameter short cylinder, suitable for coarse primary grinding; ball mill long cylinder for secondary fine regrinding;
3. Feed size: SAG accepts 0–250mm coarse ore; ball mill feed generally below 20mm;
4. Production scale: SAG fits large mines over 1000t/d; ball mill applies to small & medium mineral plants4. What liner materials are optional for SAG Mill?
Standard high chromium alloy steel liner for high-impact hard ore; composite wear-resistant liner is optional to extend service life. Rubber liners are not recommended for SAG due to severe ore impact.
5. Is global spare parts supply efficient for SAG series?
SBM self-owned casting factory stocks full set of core wear parts such as alloy liners and forged steel balls. Multiple overseas spare parts warehouses ensure fast global delivery for all customers.
