XJ-type Flotation Machine

When the flotation machine works, the motor drives the impeller to revolve, so the centrifugal effect and negative pressure are produced. On the one hand, ample air is absorbed and mixed with mineral slurry, on the other hand, the mixed mineral slurry is mingled with additive. Meanwhile, the foam is thinning, the mineral is bounded with foams, and floats up to the surface of mineral slurry and the mineralized foam is formed. The liquid surface can be adjusted with the height of adjustment flashboard, so that the useful foams are scraped with squeegee.

SF-type Flotation Machine

Structural features: it is capable of self-absorbing air and pulp, and its caster-style, two sided blades are equipped on the impeller capable of the double circulation for pulp inside the slot; its clearance with cover plate is big which will exert small impact on the suction when abrading; its suction intensity is big with forward-lean slot body and little dead angle, making the foam move fast.

XCF/KYF Series Flotation Cells

XCF and KYF are enforced aeration flotation cells. They are widely used for processing nonferrous metals, ferrous metal, and non-metallic minerals. They are typically operated in conjunction. They have similar structures features and almost the same overall dimension sizes.

It has a smaller diameter of impeller and lower power consumption which saves 30%-50% of power.

KYF series cannot suck slurry spontaneously, so its power consumption is low while XCF series can suck slurry spontaneously, so its power consumption is higher.

KYF series and XCF series are generally used cell units. XCF works as sucking flow tank and KYF as the direct flow tank. The cell units can be allocated horizontally without foam pump.

  • How to adjust the froth thickness and concentrate grade?

    Two main adjustment methods:1, Adjust the baffle/taper valve to lift or lower the liquid level; higher liquid level creates thicker froth with lower concentrate grade, lower level gets thinner froth and higher purity. 2, Adjust impeller rotating speed and air intake volume to control bubble quantity and mineral adhesion efficiency.
