Central Drive Thickener

NZ type central drive thickener is the earlier used traditional concentration equipment. If its diameter is less than 12m, the manual operation lifting handle is adopted. If its diameter is more than 12m, the power drive lifting handle device is adopted. There are the overload indicator or alarm device and the concrete pool is often adopted in larger thickeners. This machine is characterized by simple structure, low abrasion and convenient maintenance.

Peripheral Drive Thickener

The large thickener often adopts this Peripheral Drive Thickener. The settling tank is commonly constructed from concrete, with electrical power supplied through equipment located centrally on the support structure. Due to minimal roller friction, the rollers may slide under conditions of track freezing or overload. Consequently, it is not suitable for cold and icy environments or for processing large volumes or highly concentrated slurry.

    Yes. Clarified overflow contains almost no solid particles, can be reused for grinding, flotation dosing, washing to save freshwater consumption.

    Ball mill → classifier → flotation machine → thickener (primary concentration) → GP disc filter / XAMY filter press (deep dewatering). Thickener recycles overflow water, filter produces dry cake for transportation or stacking.
