In vertical roller mill production line, it largely needs the wind. When the mill's roller takes the materials into powder size and enters into the vertical roller mill production system. These materials will be taken by wind and then they will be collected. The wind in vertical roller mill mostly is hot wind which is from the hot blast stove. For the fineness of vertical roller mill products, when the material moisture content is high, the ground powder will agglomerate and cause blockage at the feed inlet.
In a common production line, a hot blast stove is needed to play a role. It does not need to install the hot blast stove when the grinding materials moisture is less than 6%. However, such material is less. Besides, when clients cannot control the moisture content of materials and avoid blockage, a hot blast stove needs to be installed.
The air volume and wind speed of the vertical roller mill are related to the hot blast stove, as well as to the exhaust fan in the working system. The exhaust fan in the system is used to draw hot air into the milling system. When the hot blast stove blows air into the working system but with a small volume, the hot air cannot flow properly. So it cannot move the materials. The exhaust fan in the vertical roller mill is to speed up the movement of hot wind and take the materials into powder collector.
It also has relationship with the end products fineness. In the working system of vertical roller mill, the air volume and wind speed will affect the discharging products fineness. When the speed is fixed, the larger the wind volume, the finer the end products.
