On June 17, 2021 Working Conference of Shanghai Enterprises Engaged in Temporary Disposal of Waste Concrete was held in SBM. The meeting was hosted by the Secretary General of Shanghai Stone Trade Association, Mr. Fan Lingen. The relevant leaders of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Shanghai Stone Trade Association, and the representatives attended.

At the meeting, Wei Jue, Secretary General of Waste Concrete Resource Utilization Branch of Shanghai Stone Trade Association, announced the "Notice on Further Improving the Recycling of Waste Construction Concrete" issued by the Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The level and quality of recycling of waste construction concrete in Shanghai is expected to be further improved, and the development of circular economy will be accelerated.

During the meeting, Mr. Qi Haixiao, Sales Manager of SBM, gave a report, introducing the practices and achievements of SBM in processing recycled aggregates and manufactured sand from waste concrete. In recent years, SBM has been actively responding to the call of "Zero-waste City" construction, and continuously increasing its investment in the field of solid construction waste resource utilization - exploring efficient utilization mode, highlighting equipment and technology research and development, and implementing green concept to promote "Construction waste - construction waste processing - recycled construction products" industry chain.
