The workload of the sand making machine is relatively heavy, and wear and tear will occur during long-term operation. To ensure stable operation, regular maintenance is required, and all faults must be solved in a timely manner. This article mainly introduces the failure of startup and analyzes its causes and related problems.
1. When the sand making machine fails to start after being powered on, this fault may be caused by problems with the bottom power supply, plug, and power cord, such as oxidation shedding and outer sheath damage. It is recommended to check these components first. If no faults are found, reconnect the power cord, turn on the power supply, and test the machine.
2. If a sand making machine's motor is powered on but fails to start (for a single-phase motor), manually check whether the rotor or impeller can turn freely. If it rotates freely without binding, the starting capacitor may have failed. The solution is to replace the starting capacitor and then restart the equipment.
3. If the motor of the sand making machine does not rotate under normal power supply but can be turned by external force and produces a humming noise, this problem is usually caused by an open-circuited or severely degraded starting capacitor. If abnormal current noise occurs and the motor cannot start, the cause is a short circuit in the starting capacitor. The solution to this fault is as follows. If the spark and noise are weak, it indicates that the capacitor capacity has decreased. In this case, replace the capacitor or connect an additional small capacitor in parallel.
This problem is analyzed from three main aspects. First, inspect the bottom power supply, plug, and power cord. If no abnormality is found, the fault may lie in the motor. There are two common motor failure conditions: failure to start after power-on, and starting only with external auxiliary force. Corresponding solutions for these two phenomena are analyzed in detail. The sand making machine can work smoothly.
