What are the precautions for the dismantling and assembling of the impact crusher motor?

The impact crusher is one of the commonly used mine crusher equipment. When repairing the crusher equipment, sometimes it is necessary to disassemble the motor. Then, what are the precautions for the disassembly and assembly of the impact crusher motor?

1). For motors equipped with rolling bearings, remove the bearing outer cover, loosen the end cover fastening screws, and mark the alignment joints on the end covers. (The marks on the front and rear end covers must be different.) Screw the dismounting bolts into the two special threaded holes on the motor end cover to lift off the end cover.

2). When removing the motor with brushes, remove the brush from the brush holder, mark the position of the neutral line of the brush.

3). WWhen pulling out the rotor, take care not to damage the stator coils. Lightweight rotors can be removed manually, while larger rotors must be lifted with lifting equipment. First, both ends of the rotor shaft are used for reusing the wire rope to lift the rotor with lifting equipment, and slowly move out.

4). Use tools to disassemble the wheel or coupling on the shaft of the motor. Sometimes you need to add some kerosene into the gap between the motor wheel shafts so that it can penetrate and lubricate the parts for easy disassembly. Some shafts and wheels are tightly fitted. The wheels need to be heated quickly (with a wet cloth wrapped around the shaft) for removal.
