Sand making machine is a kind of important equipment in artificial sand production process. In the following part, we introduce 7 reasons for the sudden shutdown of sand making machine and their solutions.

Reason 1: raw material blockage in the crushing cavity

Raw material blockage will cause the sudden shutdown of sand making machine. Here are the reasons that will cause raw material blockage in the crushing cavity of sand making machine:

(1) Feed too fast. When the sand making machine is just started, if the raw material is too large or too hard, it will cause the blockage and vibration of sand making machine. Therefore, the equipment cannot be officially put into production when it is just started. At the same time, the speed of feeding raw materials should not be too fast, otherwise it will cause blockage.

(2) The size of discharge opening. If the discharge opening of the sand making machine is too small and exceeds the minimum range, some larger materials will accumulate at the discharge opening of the crushing cavity, resulting in unsmooth discharge or even blockage of the crushing cavity.

(3) If the raw material has high moisture content or high viscosity, it will stick to the discharge opening after crushed, and cause blockage of crushing cavity. Before crushing, we can screen the raw material first to avoid blockage.

It is suggested that when crushing materials, screening should be carried out first to avoid blockage in the work.

Solution:

If there is raw material blockage in the crushing cavity of sand making machine, operators should clear the blocked raw materials. In the production process of sand making machine, it is forbidden for materials with large particle size or high water content to enter the machine, and the feeding should be continuously and uniform to avoid excessive feeding.

Reason 2: the V-belt is too loose

Check whether the V-belt is too loose or loses its tightness.

Solution:

If the sudden shutdown of the sand making machine is caused by too loose a V-belt, the operator should adjust the tightness of the V-belt. If the V-belt loses its tightness due to prolonged use and causes the sudden shutdown, the V-belt needs to be replaced.

Reason 3: the working voltage is not appropriate

If the working voltage of the working site is too low, it is not enough to maintain the normal operation of the sand making machine, causing the sudden shutdown.

Solution:

Select a voltage that meets the requirements of sand making machine.

Reason 4: internal parts fall off

If there is a metal collision sound before the equipment stops, it may be that the internal parts in the crushing cavity fall off and cause the sudden shutdown of sand making machine.

If the bearing is locked, operators should find out the reason for the lockup and reinstall the bearing correctly, ensure that the bearing has a certain working clearance, and ensure good bearing lubrication. Otherwise, the problem cannot be solved fundamentally.

Reason 7: There is a problem with the device cable

The fracture or poor contact of connecting cable will also cause the sudden shutdown of sand making machine, especially when there is no sound without warning, it is likely that there is a problem with the device cable.

Solution:

If the equipment cable is broken or has poor contact, it needs to be adjusted or replaced in time.
